Even though my IT Band was a bit sore, I decided to start logging this week's miles early with a run through the neighborhood. I'm so lucky to have these nice paths around my house.
I knocked out 3 miles today. Only have 4 more to knock out before Saturday. That shouldn't be a problem since Tuesday's run likely will be around 3-4 miles and Wednesday's track workout will be 2.5-3 miles.
It was a hot one today...very muggy and the sun was beating down on me every step of the way. Thank goodness for hats/visors. Can't imagine running without one.
Mark biked with me part of the way which was fun. He was keeping track of my distance and speed with his handheld GPS.
At the end I decided to run up Albion...which was the last thing by legs wanted to do. The coaches said that we have to start incorporating some hills into our runs. Might as well start doing that on my solo work-outs. Wowzers. It was tough. Above is a photo. It doesn't look bad...but believe me...it is.
All in all, glad those miles are behind me!
