I arrived at the gym this evening to begin my first triathlon running workout. Yay! It would have been great if I remembered my running pants. Kinda tough when I opened my gym bag and discovered two shirts instead. Idiot!
I ended up converting the treadmill workout I was supposed to do and just did it on the eliptical. It actually worked out well. It was a very nice 45-minute incline program. I ended up doing 4-miles.
I really enjoy logging in my triathlon workouts and hearing back from the coaches (really quickly!) their thoughts about how I'm doing. The coaches are also regularly sending us info on gear, advice and even sent video clips of Michael Phelps swimming so that we could break down his stroke and try and mimic it. I'm liking this stuff!
