I did a short 3 mile route around the neighboorhood this morning. I headed out on my regular loop, but in reverse this time. Gotta mix it up a bit. This route meant that I avoided the killer hill that I usually hit at the end of my route. Since I still had some steam at the end of my run, I decided to tackled a different hill. Not exactly sure why I was looking for the punishment, but know that any extra hill work I do will benefit me in the long run.
It was a bit chilly when I first headed out, but happy that there was no rain. Nothing special to report...just happy to get a jump on the miles that I am scheduled to log this week.
Coach Ellen gave us all a weekly training schedule that notes how much mileage we should tackle each week. I'm going to try and keep up with the proposed schedule...but it looks a bit challenging.
