As I'm flipping through the channels I came across the film adaptation of Eat Pray Love --- at the exact moment when Julia Roberts' character is taught the meaning of "il dolce far niente" --- the sweetness of doing nothing.

The Italians have it right. There is an art to just being and enjoying the quiet/simple moments...and oh how sweet it is.
