We had a nice, manageable crowd that spread out among the paces. But for the usually killer potholes near the Kennedy Center that require you to keep a close eye and having run through clouds of smoke in Rossyln, it was nearly perfect.
Only bad news was that I forgot to turn on my Garmin. Duh! Was especially a bummer b/c I was pushing myself and wanted to see what my time was.
Oh well. There's always next time.
