Rinse & Repeat

Last night I hooked up with the Snapple kids for their DC-based information session about their new Snapple Triathlon Club. After spending a couple months training with these folks and meeting some fantastic local athletes and other nutty trainees, it was fantastic to hear that the Snapple folks decided to continue the momentum and start a triathlon club and again offer training programs.

I am super psyched!

After the Snapple training ended in June I was so proud of what I had accomplished, but again sad that it was over. A handful of us continued to still meet up, email around and encourage one another to keep pushing forward toward other goals --- like Nations. Note to self, it's usually not a good idea to look at future races RIGHT AFTER you completed a race. I did that after the DC Tri and within 48 hours I grabbed my credit card and bought my way into Nations. I blame the endorphins.

Post Snapple I tried hanging with the DC tri Club. Though they offer good clinics and they are a well established group they felt BIG and impersonal. I missed Snapple! Luckily Team Snapple decided to give us more by starting a Tri Club and offering training programs again. YAY! See http://snappletriteam.com/?p=1764.

Anyway, it was great to see a handful of new potential Snapple-ites last night and I'm looking forward to more fun with the Snapple kids. Go Snapple Go!
