Welcome to Miami

Nothing like waking up to temps in the 70's and humidity.  I hear that a nice snow storm hit the DC area today.  So glad I'm here sitting in my capris and flip flops.  Above is a picture from my brother's balcony.  That's the American Airlines Center --- also the starting line for tomorrow's race.  Yay --- easy commute in the morning.

I headed over to the Convention Center this morning.  What a crowd.  I was able to cab over and get in, walk around and get out in a few hours.  The running community is such an interesting group of people.  I met some interesting small business owners who have found niche areas to sell their goods.  I think that would be a lot of fun --- finding a product, developing it, marketing it and then going out among the people to sell it.

I'm just hanging out today --- resting, eating and getting my gear ready for tomorrow's EARLY start.  The gun goes off at 6:00 AM sharp.  I just watched the course video again to remind myself where certain key points are located along the race.

Here's hoping for the best!
