What a send off from the trainers at the gym. As luck would have it, I had The Sarg. He promised not to kill me, but ensured that every minute counted. Lots of planks, jumping (I told him I have no vertical skills), wall sits and ab work (my flabby/weak spot) and push ups and even some rowing. I actually like rowing!
It always feels better...once it's over.
It's nice that folks have taken an interest in me. They ask how the running is going and wish me luck on my next race. I look forward to sending them an update after Miami.
