Pushing the loop

Yay! I'm feeling the cobwebs starting to come off.

This morning I hooked up with some girls to ride at Hains Point. What a fun ride.

After weeks of slacking or half-ass efforts, today was a nice wake up call and I can thank my fellow trainees for pushing me.

Things I learned today:

•I need one of those bike computer-thingy-a-bobs to track my time, speed, cadence and distance. It's had to push yourself if you don't have any data to compare similar efforts.

•I need to ride with other people. It's the only real way I can ensure that I stay honest.

•I need to push myself to realize that I can go incrementally faster or harder each time I go out. It's easy to just remain plateaued.
