Welcome to the new hills workout at Conte's Tuesday Night! This was week two of the new route and I really like it...much better than the up and back route on Military.I should have know that tonight's ride would be interesting when I early on dropped my chain and then quickly lost the group of riders. Luckily I had the cue sheet. Definitely made for some interesting moments trying to read the sheet while riding the streets of Arlington.
The best had to have been when I went zooming down a hill...only to discover that I had made a wrong turn...I was zooming down a hill that everyone else was climbing. Nice. I swear...this stuff only happens to me.
The ride was pretty tough. My respiratory issues are still lingering. I probably shouldn't admit that there were definitely moments when I felt a bit light headed and weak. I turned back early and only did the short version of the ride.
Hoping the dr can fix me up...and fast.

I did the Conte's hill back in July once. I usually can't get over there, but wow what a ride.
I know! The commute just to get there is a pain. It's a real treat when I can make it there.
