I have no idea how folks commute from DC toward VA. The traffic is nuts and all the Spring Break tourists make life even more crazy.
Stop looking at the cherry blossoms and just Drive People!!!!
I foolishly though that I could drive to West Potomac Park today for my bike workout. After a close to 2-hour attempt...I gave up.
I'm not confident enough to dodge/weave through DC traffic yet so biking over wasn't an option I was comfortable attempting. Looks like tomorrow I'll have to take my life into my own hands and just make a go of it.
For now, I'm gonna bike around my 'hood...that is...if I can actually get home.
